A good relief from the stressed and yeah with the current problems on top of my head..

Last Saturday is my 5th wedding anniversary. We had a simple celebration with a Baskin and Robin ice cream cake courtery of my father. The reason why we have this cake is because that this type of cake (ice cream cake) will guarantee that there will be no left over (at least for the ice cream part) compared to other cakes.

I’m considering of attending this conference especially on Sunday. They call this day as Hackaton day. Besides perhaps the chance of seeing a lot of “hackers” on that particular day, the topics by CyberSecurity on the pre-conference talks  concerns on Web Security also sounds interesting to me. ANyway maybe I can meet some of my friends there especially Mr Adli who is one of the speakers for a forum called “Hot Topics in Open Source Security” on Day 3 (besides my CSO is the moderator of that forum). Don’t prepare the slides last minute again bro

The fee is RM120 for online registration and RM 150 for walk in.. Hmm.. Need to check whether I can claim back the fee

Update: I will definitely not going to the conference as me and my family will going back to Kuantan. My mom is warded due to low blood count(?) some sort like that.

I’m quite busy lately.. As we are approaching the half time for 2009, I need to re-evaluate the game plan and the strategic goals and objectives for this year.
Anyway, currently I’m using or borrowing my office laptop ( as my lappy decided to shut itself down and refuse to wake up.) Yeah, all these time I used my personal lappy even for office works. Why? Dunno, just feel comfortable using my own..

On this wonderful day, I would like to take this opportunity to wish a great man that I admire since I learned how to think and more over when I assume similar roles and responsibilities towards my own family. To be honest, based on the things that he gone through to raise and to provide us comfort and security compared to what I have and with the help that I got whenever I’m stranded when dealing with my family matters, I admire him more than ever.

For all the things that he’s done and still doing, I, from the deep of my heart want to wish my father a very very Happy Birthday. I always pray for your health, well being and happiness and may it continues as long as possible. I love you Abah..

For me? At 33 sometimes I do feel that I have problem to get rid of this :

Yesterday, the Friday prayer sermon was mainly about the teachers. Their roles and responsibilities in nation building. And my mind rewinded 21 years back to my primary school days. Yeah, surprisingly as the years that I spent at MCKK are not the ones that I remembered when thinking about teachers. No, this doesn’t mean that I didn’t appreciate what all those good teachers done to me but I guess maybe during the primary school years, I looked up at those teachers in awe.

We’ve moved to our new house last 1st May. Actually the date has nothing to do with my brother’s birthday or his anniversary. It just we think due to the 3 off days, we have the sufficient time to move and ample time to have our rest. My brother and his family, my uncle (or based on the “pangkat” he is my atuk actually), my parents, my mother and brother in law presence DO help and welcomed by us. We are so grateful with their help. Anyway maybe because of excitement of owning a house, all the preparation especially in sense of house painting were done by me and wifey (of cause my bro and my parents did came and help us).

First of all I would like to thank all of you who called, sms-ed, emailed, wished, and included my son health condition in your daily pray. Ariff spent 3 days at Sunway Medical Center, nebulized every 4 hours (And in the later days he struggled less and cried more), injected with medication and wifey spent 4 nites sleeping on the chair. During day time I will came and relieve wifey from her duty to enable her to catch some breath and rest. So we spent most of our times for that 3 days going back and forth to the hospital.
