Since Man Utd is at the summit of the premiership table instead of Chelski, I helped myself with a new jersey yesterday. Bought it at Al-Ihsan sports shop, costs me RM 259 (get one Umbro back pack as free gift tho). My last Utd jersey was 94/95 season. The one with Old Trafford as a backdrop/background, sharp as the main sponsor complete with Premier League badges on both sleeves and yes Eric Cantona is still playing at that time. And the price was RM 169. From now on, I will wear my new acquired jersey every United games.

Authentic Nike’s Manchester United Football Club Jersey

p/s: Sorry spurs, I used to support them back 1987 during FA Cup Final between them and Coventry (If I’m not mistaken and I am too lazy to check) but then I discovered mr Bryan Robson

For the first time I bought a bag/backpack that cost as same as some of wifey’s handbags. :D
Bought Samsonite ict backpack at Kuantan last Saturday. It costs me RM 370.00 (after discount). Hopefuly it can last for 37 years (Like wifey said).

Nice?

Damned Expensive.

On behalf of my family, Shahniza Ismail, Nisha Adrianna Amani, Nur Iman Nadhirah, I would like to wish all muslimin and muslimat allaround the world, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. While we are celebrating the victorious day of defeating the lust, urge to do sinful things and others, please spare our thoughts to those who have to work during that joyful day (like me sob! sob!), our soldiers, policeman/policewoman, anak yatim, our saudara at Palestin, Lebanon. Be moderate in doing our celebration. Drive carefully will ya?

Today closing price for my company share is 0.805cent per unit. I never doubt that it would reach that price but not that soon. Btw overall the market especially Mesdaq is quite active. Kinda surprisingly because yesterday the closing price was 0.690cent and the market is kinda lembab.
Hmm shud i sell or shud I hold. For time being, whut the heck, let’s hold and see how the market will perform once reopen.

I’m in the process of waiting for my Public Bank Visa Electron card. It’s a debit card and I dun have to worry about unable to meet the payment or whutsoever. Hehehe. U spend whut u have lah. Btw easier to do online transactions (Damn u genting, where’s the maybank2u link in your reservation page?) Anyway, shud it be PBank Visa Electron or AmBank NexG?

Yup, today we went to Danga Bay for berbuka puasa + checking around to see ourselves whut with the hype about this place anyway. This place actually more like “benteng” at Kuantan but larger and more shops. The foodpark is sooo big and many food stalls/shop/restaurant there. All under one roof. The architechture is impressive, the view (minus the haze lah), a good place to bring your family and have a good meal there. Plenty of things for kids as well. Kinda difficult to find this kind of place at KL tho.

When I said the place is larger than the “Benteng” at Kuantan, I really mean it. After buka puasa there, we went to the one storey mall(I dunno how to describe this place, but it’s kinda impressive and for that size mall, 80% occupied. Thumbs up) Even wifey complaint(for the 1st time) that she’s tired of walking in a mall. She never complaint when shopping at the mid valley) I recommend this place when you guys have a plan to visit JB.

After that we went to the JB City Centre. Similar like any other malls that u can find in KL or other place. In fact the setting reminds me of Berjaya Mega Mall at Kuantan. Hehehehe. Bought nothing there just lepaking at Starbucks.

Honestly I think JB is not that bad. Okay the road is kinda small, the bikers/rempits riding their bikes like there’s no tomorrow, the city seems like scattered all over the place but one thing that I noticed (and wifey agrees)the traffic is not that bad. Lots of shopping more that’s for sure. I guess that’s maybe to cater the visitor from our friendly neighbor from Singapore. I dun mind coming back again.

Danga Bay

Danga Bay Food Park

Food Park. Impressive eh?

Nice place to have ur meals

My buka puasa meal. Nasi goreng ayam sambal. The taste? so and so la. something missing I guess. RM5.50

Nearby the foodpark

Festive streetmall. Long road ahead.

The mall from the outside

There’s some sort of circus I guess is going on outside the streetmall.

Busses. JB busy city centre

Managed to snap a pic from the starbucks at JB City Centre mall

A fountain at our hotel’s lobby. Blurry because my hand is shaking.

Bored.. Wifey went to the training place this morning and I’m stuck here. Accompany by this lousy internet access. hahaha. Well nothing to tell/ to do besides watching the reruns of Champions League on ESPN and using this lousy internet access. Perhaps this evening will be more interesting. MaYbe we’re going to Danga Bay for our berbuka puasa. See ya guys later

RM33.60 for 24hour access.

See?

CL Reruns

This is whut I bought at Duty Free Zone. A carton of Salem Lights

See.. Malaysian Duty Not Paid

Accompany wifey as she has to conduct training there. Bertolak from the house around 9.am and reached JB or Senai to be precise at 12.30. We went to the training place as wifey need to do some installation 1st and went to the Sofitel Palm Resort around 3pm.

On the way to JB. Raininggggg…

Sofitel Palm Resort Senai Lobby’s (Actually the pic taken from the lift hall)

The place is very nice. Thumbs up. Anyway the room is quite smelly(smell like kayu basah or sort off) So we change to other room. The smell is the same, but lesser and we got a proper golf course view this time. The major thing is the reception of the wifi is low. Demmit and I have to pay RM 33.60 for 24hours access time.

The room.

Nice eh? But smelly.

Wifey checking the room

And decided that we have to change the room. To my dismay the wifi reception is totally fakap for the rate that I have to pay.

Golf course view. Can you see it?

Can you see the golf course or not? Aiyaa

On the way to Stulang Laut. If you look carefully+Hard+with superhuman power(ask superman to lend it to you la) you can see Singapore.

Look harder and you can see Singapore’s factory (I guess) Can’t see it? you are rabun than me la..

On the way. Hazy JB

Colorful JB

Around 4pm we went to JB to find a place for buka puasa later on (JB punya berbuka is at 6.56pm). Initially we want to have our berbuka puasa at Danga Bay (Strangely the
signboard here sometimes state “Danga Bay” and sometimes “Teluk Danga” so if you looking for the rite road, be aware of this. hehehe. We did pass Danga Bay but it seems l
ike that place is lifeless (observation from inside the car lah) and I’m struggling to find the rite U-turn hahaha. Btw wifey keep talking about this nice place at Stulan
g Laut especially the Duty Free Zone near the Eden hotel. After few misturn, wrong roads and “tawaf” finally we managed to get there. Hehehehe. As it seems lil bit earl
y to look a place to buka puasa, we decided to just have a look at the Duty Zone area/complex. Nothing interesting except perfumes that cheaper by 20 or 50 ringgit, choco
lates, and I did buy a carton of Salem lights at RM50. So that’s all. Settle down at nearby Zorro restaurant and berbuka puasa there. Nice food and hell nice nescafe. Wel
l prolly next time we might come back(actually we might go back to the Duty Free Zone laa.. not that restaurant) hehehe.

p/s: Sorry for the tunggang langgang posting. hv to use links to post as the browser keeps getting unusual respond from blogger. Bear wif me ya?

On behalf of my wife and my wonderful daughters, Shahniza Ismail, Nisha Adriana Amani and Nur Iman Nadhirah, I would like to wish all Muslimin and muslimat all over the world, Selamat Menyambut Ramadhan Al-Mubara’ dan semoga amalan kite di terima Allah SWT.

Updated my NetBSD src. Simple exercise actually. Updated my pkgsrc earlier (Dun ask me why) and those need to be updated again. Duh!.

Anyway most of us know how to update the src/ports on FreeBSD but few on NetBSD (or I am the only lame one who left out?). Below are the steps need to be taken. (I’ve collected these from netbsd guide, websites and forums. Kudos to those fellas-If these is your guide then pls let me know so I can give proper credit here. Thanks)

Initial checkout:
1). setenv CVSROOT anoncvs@anoncvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot
2). setenv CVS_RSH ssh
3). cd /usr
4). cvs checkout -r -P src #Release = netbsd-3-0-RELEASE or netbsd-3-0-1-RELEASE
#Stable = netbsd3
#Current = Replace with -A (cvs checkout -A -P src)
5). cvs log Makefile | grep pkgsrc-`date +%Y`Q. # To know pkgsrc branches for the current year.
6). cvs checkout -r -P pkgsrc #Where x=year y=quater. For Quater 2 2006 = 2006Q2
# for current = cvs checkout -A -P pkgsrc
7). *cvs checkout -r -P xsrc # same options as src for RELEASE, stable and current.
8). mkdir /usr/obj
9). cd /usr/src
10). ./build.sh -T (for older version -t)
11). cd /usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/conf # Choose ur architecture correctly aaa..
12). config MYKERNEL
13). cd ../compile/MYKERNEL
14). make dependall install #I recommend you to back up your workable kernel 1st.
15). reboot
16). cd /usr/src
17). ./build.sh distribution
18). **cd /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
19). **make install
20). *cd /usr/xsrc
21). *make build
22). etcupdate cd /usr/pkgsrc/pgktools/pkgchk
24). **make install clean

Subsequent updates:
1). setenv CVSROOT anoncvs@anoncvs.netbsd.org:/cvsroot
2). setenv CVS_RSH ssh
3). cd /usr
4). cvs update -dP src #For current src/xsrc/pkgsrc use -A. e.g cvs update -A -dp src/xsrc/pkgsrc
5). cvs update -dP pkgsrc
6). *cvs update -dP xsrc
7). rm -r /usr/obj/*
8). cd /usr/src
9). ./build.sh -T
10). cd /usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/conf #Choose your architechture correctly aaa
11). config YOURKERNEL
12). cd ../compile/YOURKERNEL
13). make dependall install
14). reboot
15). cd /usr/src
16) ./build.sh distribution
17). **cd /usr/pkgsrc/pkgtools/pkg_install
18). make update
19). *cd /usr/xsrc
20). *make build
21). etcupdate
22). **pkg_chk -us

* If u have xsrc
** optional but very usefull in determining which pkg need to be updated
There you are. Hopefully this can assist you. WElcome to netbsd tho. :D
