What’s up? Well during the Holy month, you might notice that I’m lil bit lazy in posting new items. Perhaps lack of caffeine or glucose :)). Anyway I think for the second half of Ramadhan, everything seems like back to normal. Normal in sense of I need to do some paperworks, some presentation slides and yeah meetings as well (btw I do hate having meetings during Ramadhan tho.. Lol. As I try to preserve whatever energy I might have within my skinny frame figure
Anyway for this week, I’ve received some good news/events and some bad news/events.
1). The new maid/home assistant/deputy home minister has arrived. And so far the twin do not have any problem with her. Btw she is 32 years old (as “young” as me lor) and this is not the first time she works in Malaysia. She’s been working as a maid recently for 2 years at Kedah (her contract finished sometime last year). She has a son and a daughter back in Indonesia where her son is already 12 years old (older than Nisha). Her mother still working (surprisingly) in Kedah, also as a maid. Her brother is working in one of the factories in Selangor (I dun know which part of Selangor and the name of the factory as I can decipher her pronounciation of the factory’s name) and yes even her sister is working in Kuala Kangsar (and I told her that she might be able to visit her sister during my Old Boys Weekend next year). So far she is satisfactory for me but I’m still waiting for wifey comments. - Definitely a good news
No.. Adam is not “frust menonggeng” on hearing the news I’ve decline the appointment
2). I’ve finally received the appointment letter of my new position. Again after reading its terms and conditions, it left me with no choice but to decline the appoinment. I am so grateful and honored to be trusted by my company for that position but then I need to be fair to everyone and yeah especially to my family as well. And no, I will not discuss the content or the details here.
- Bad news
3). I’ve received an email from my friend at CyberSecurity Malaysia which to be honest did inject some surprise and joyful mood in me. NO, that email is not like what you think of. That email is NOT about offering a job at CyberSecurity Malaysia (I dun think I am qualified to work there tho) but it is an invitation to give some talk on security during the InfoSec.my Technical Forum sometime during October.
Well I did post some review on last year technical forum, I WILL post my review on THIS year technical forum as well, only I will leave out my own talk (I’ll let other people to comment on my talk). So if you have nothing to do, then why not just attend this technical forum. Perhaps it can be a warm up event before the Hack in The Box conference after that. - Definitely a good news
4). Chest pain. I encounter some slight chest pain recently. Maybe I need to slow down my nicotine intake. -BAD..BAD..BAD news.
Anyway, watching my beautiful daughters playing with the “bunga api” every nite and looking at my twin walking around the house albeit slowly somehow smoothen down the impact brought by the bad news.
Yeah, life is not that simple but that’s life.
