As usual this morning, wifey sent me to the office because she’s the one who spent hours preparing herself ( dun ask me why) for today working days. Also as usual, I’ve displayed my usual displeasure of being late again, and pretend to not hearing whatever wifey mumbled while she’s driving the car. Anyway one sentence did caught my attention immediately.
“I dun mind sending you to the office every day as long as I will get HP Mini for my birthday present next year.”
That sentence did enough to make me more attentive to wifey’s mumbling later on. So I did a quick browsing to find out more about HP mini as I did read about it from Kenny Sia’s post when he bought it and use it for the live blog reporting on MTV Award this year at Genting.

Well it seems that HP does offer one small model that can be put inside one of wifey’s many handbags (I strongly believe this is the main factor that she wants this HP Mini). Let me list down the technical specification of this HP 2133 Mini Note PC

Interesting eh? It using VIA chip as its processor but I think it is sufficient enuff for mobile computing tho (for wifey if she JUST want to browse and keep track on her online-business account). Not that heavy with merely 1.6kg for its weight. It has all the basic requirement for nowadays computing needs and even have this camera as well (My lappy doesn’t have this camera). But after listening to Ed Skoudis lectures, I do have this lil bit of paranoia on having this built-in or integrated cameras and mics.
The nice thing is, the price starts from RM2133 to Rm 2500. Not as expensive as MacBook Air I guess. The down side is (at least for me) the size of this thing..Only 8 or 9 inches of screen size. What can you see in that small screen? It seems HP Mini is more like an oversized calculator with Windows.
But heck, when wifey said that is the one that she wants meaning it doesn’t matter whether I thought HP Mini is an oversized calculator or not. Anything for wifey … Err not ANY thing

What? HP Mini?
