I am blessed with a wonderful family. I am happily married to a wonderful, supportive wifey that even if I was given another life, I will mary wifey again. Again, I am blessed with two adorable, charming daughters that I could never ask for others. The God didn’t stop just that, in fact He pour the feel of joy and happiness to my family when my twin boys were born last year. They really light up my life, fill it with tenderness, love, hope and caring. I could never ask for more.
Anyway, I am worried bout my children. Worry on their survivability to face the challenge of life. For that I want ensure that they can and will survive and successfully navigate their path of life weaving through the challenges presented to them. I want my children to learn on the importance of having the right and healthy competitive mindset. I want them to learn on other Malaysian citizen cultures. I want them to learn on how to adapt in this beautiful multiracial country. I want them to learn that it is important to compare themselves with successful person and reach for that level instead of comparing themselves with the unsuccessful ones and be satisfied with that.
To be honest, I used to be a conservative type of guy who has some difficulty to mingle with other Malaysian citizen who is not the same “type” as me. Compared to wifey, she is more open and as a result, she is more progressive, more successful than myself which I do envy for. Since married to wifey, I managed to change my attitude, my mindset and my disadvantages by being open. Anyway, there are lots of positive and beneficial things that I can learn from other Malaysian Citizen culture and their mentality. I am so thankful for that even though I already reached at this stage of my age. I do not want my children to be like me, and I want them to follow wifey footsteps and of cause never forgot who they are. That’s why religion is important as if they do lost in their life, they will always have a guideline to bring them home. However my children need to learn how to respect other Malaysian Citizen’s belief and culture so that they will learn about tolerance. I want my children to grow in a country where all her citizen will be treated with fair and equal. Where her citizen is working together to ensure that every single human in the country shares the same vision, share the same pride, and share the same tears while accepting and respecting each other beliefs and differences. For that when all of her citizen shouts “Merdeka” on the 31st August, they will shout with their heart as at that moment, they really understand and embrace the real meaning of Merdeka.
And when that happen I can rest in peace knowing that my children’s future in this blessed and wonderful country is in safe hand and secured.

this is an excellent piece .. happy merdeka!
