Spent most of my after lunch time doing my SANS GCIH Practice exam. It has 150 objective type of questions and must be completed within 4 hours. Initially I want to go through the practice exam in October or November, but then what the heck, I just want to get used with the type of questions, exam format etc so I can make appropriate notes on the subject.

The questions are not that difficult and not THAT easy either. And yeah you need to choose the most accurate answer and the choices available is not that straight forward. So I just proceed with the practice exam and thankfully, even without any proper preparation, I managed to pass the exam and now I know what kind of notes I need to make and what area of skills and knowledge will be assessed in the exam.

Now? I can start making notes and continue listening to Ed Skoudis lectures in my phone during my travel time from and to the office. Hopefully there will be no major interruption in this coming weeks.
