And the topic is. . .

I’ve been invited to be one of the speakers at i-hack conference UITM possibly in August. To be honest I’m not quite sure what kind of topic that suitable for that occasion tho. Initially I planned to give a talk about packet analysis but then I think probably I give a talk about Security Analyst career in security. I mean about the skill set required for the job, career path, and other related matters. And perhaps some simple demo on doing packet analysis or maybe just a simple sguil demo might do.

Have any ideas?

p/s: And I dun have any ideas about gifts or amount of money for giving this talk tho. Maybe I just do it for free.

updates: I think I’ll give a talk about the Security Analyst career. Maybe I can provide useful information, knowledge, skill set and the expectation in this line of job and possibly the career path as well. But it would be wonderful if I can get feedbacks especially from UITM students. It will be useless if I give a talk with a “syok sendiri” topics tho ;)

    topic about NSM la, sguil is the best tools to demo. Ni la masanya ko nak naikkan NSM dimata student. UITM x bagi duit punya kalau bagi talk, dia bagi surat penghargaan je. Tak tau la skang ada pulak, dulu x de.

    Alaa, event untuk budak-budak, free-of-charge pun takpelah…janji hati kita ikhlas sampaikan ilmu untuk generasi masa depan. Bila diorang praktis ilmu tu untuk perkara kebaikan, ko jugak merasa saham pahala diorang :D

    event ni utk student ker?….kalau student , elok dah tu kau bgtahu psl karier security analyst…mungkin ada yg berminat, sebab dia org ada jugak buat event psl hacking…

    aku pun nak tahu apa yg step2 nak jadi mcm security analayst…? dan dok terpikir nak buat master dlm bidang ni. any idea/suggestion?
