Besides the mark of beginning of new year for in Islamic Calender, I personally believe that Hijriah provides a larger perspective in our life. I believe Hijriah represents the migration towards something better. Like The Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW migrated from Mekah Al Mukarammah to Madinah Al Munawwarah in order to expand Islam. So in our life, I think we also required to perform the migration like I mentioned before, towards betterment. Like from being an ordinary father to become a good father, an ordinary security analyst to become The Security Analyst, from a good husband to become the best husband and as you can see, Hijriah encourages improvement and changes towards something good or better.
So, as Hijriah is approaching, I am determine to improve myself either spiritual, financially, emotionally and other aspects in my life as well. And to my fellow Muslim brothers and sisters, let us embrace the true meaning of Hijriah and make this world a better place to live. No more war, no more idiotic conflicts and for God sake, your power, money, women and everything in this world that you have can never accompany you once you’ve let out your last breath.
