Another new task

Surprise…

My immediate Boss has this habit of giving me surprises, some of it nice but most of the time not that nice. The latest is I will be “promoted” to be a consultant where I will not attached to any projects. I have to streamline the SOC (all the SOC that we have) process on top of the new tasks given to me. More managerial or administrative tasks IMHO. The bad thing is if this “promotion” does happen, I am gonna lose my shift allowance which I dun think I can afford to lose. Whut the heck..

p/s: I m excited about the development of our new SIEM/SEM. IMHO it’s damned impressive and me and my colleagues inputs are required (for the Analyst perspective and views) which I am more than happy to give and participate. ;)

“promoted” because this thing still need approval from my CSO tho.
