I do wonder what these people are trying to show actually? Ok you scores straight As.. err I mean 17A1 or perhaps in the future we can see a student scores 20A1s. But whut does it show? Are you really like learning? If that’s the case, I will bow and raise my hat to you. You have a good memories? or simply good at memorizing the facts/etc instead of understanding the concept or fundamental. I didn’t say it is bad to achieve that kind of result. Actually I really impressed that kind of achievement or result is really outstanding. Honest.
But I am more impressed for a person who really can apply his knowledge in real world. So far my encounter with our supposed to be intellectual group of people (Degree and master degree holders shud be categorized in intellectual group) is not a good one (with few exceptions) where most of them failed to even apply their knowledge in order to perform their work (Ok la to be specific in this security field). I dun want to rant about that. Enuff with that in my previous postings. I do wonder whether these people learning for the sake of knowledge or for that damned piece of paper. Our universities used to produce high quality graduates which nowdays leading the country (ok this statement is debatable) but IMHO the quality is started to diminish as the time goes by. Bring back the glory days la.. That’s why I do prefer pursuing profesional or industrial certification instead of pursuing any degree. 
(Perhaps age and maturity come into play as well)
Anyway congratulation to all the candidates who passed with flying colors, keep up the good work and justify your place in the intellectual group of people. For those who didn’t passed with “bendera terbang”, dun be sad.. SPM never indicates what you will be in the future ok? 
Set your goals and determine the ways to achieve it.
p/s: Either our student is getting smarter nowadays or the standard is getting lower?
sistem SPM malaysia ni pelik sikit, student bleh amik takda had limit subjek pun. padahal kalau nak kerja dia kena concentrate dalam satu bidang saja.
kalau nak jadi Ahli farmasi, concentrate la kat subjek science stream saja fahami betul-betul, bukan nak kutip A.
ni tak, objektif SPM dah tersasar, jadi pesta pungut A, pakat masing-masing amik subjek tak berkaitan untuk pungut A, buat apa kalau camtu?
konon kalau amik byk subjek, lebih byk kebarangkalian bleh dapat A, kalau camtu baik la amik 100 subjek, bleh dapat 20A lepas tu masuk paper.
bila masuk universiti mula la jadi taktentu hala sebab kat universiti bleh pilih satu bidang saja, subjek pun dah limit, lepas tu dah grad tak paham apa pun yang dia blajar kat universiti sebab masuk univ semata-mata sebab makbapak suruh, lepas tu score A pun sebab buat kerja/assignment tanpa paham betul-betul maksud/teknologi disebalik assgmnt tu

pandai atas paper je la eh. pastu life bongok gak. dapat byk A tp aku tgk takde la hebat sangat. semua mende konon2 tau tp bila tanya details, memagik plak sakit perut la. ini ada kes switch tak support linux nye jawapan kuar nanti nih.
