I am scheduled to conduct one knowledge sharing session within my department today but due to health reason, I decided to postpone it to next Friday. Yeah, recently I’ve encountered some problems with my health that also reminds me that I need to take it easy on myself. The burnout rate turnover is quite fast compared to few years back. OK maybe due to my age and my lifestyle . However still I managed to give some fast presentation to few guys regarding TCP/IP and its usage in doing analysis.

Next week probably I will attend one meeting with the representative of a product which based on the e-brochure it’s quite impressive. That product or perhaps solution IMHO will be useful in our daily operations.

This month, my schedule is packed with trainings. First there will be a three day Basic Penetration Testing training. Usually this kind of training will be performed by my colleague from the other department but then due to the resource constraint (everybody engaged with projects), I just give a lending hand by becoming the trainer. The good thing is I dun have to develop the syllabus, the materials and the slides. All I have to do is to enhance it a lil bit and include few things. Yeah I will include the Authorization and Consent part as well

Then another training, this time on protection process.. “Linux configuration review and Hardening“. Again I only need to review the slides and the content. I might as well include about warning banners and maybe I’ll touch on the lsof and netstat usage as well. I might also introduce (if they didn’t aware yet) Bastille Linux Simpler hehehe…

So I need to start brushing my presentation skills back. Based on this morning mini presentation, half of my class will end up sleeping but perhaps maybe because of the medication that I took made me “high” a lil bit. Ahh.. perhaps that medication…
