Initially I thought to take CHFI(Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator) for my certification but after some consideration and my friend from MIMOS warning (he’s taking GCFA-GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst) I though perhaps I shud stick to my profession. GCIA which stands for GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst really suits me and actually more on my nature of work.

First I have to find out the subjects on this certification, and then analysing the practice papers as well. And maybe I would try the challenge exam when I think/believe that I am prepared. I know it’s kinda difficult for the company to send me but why not give it a shot on my own (No bonding exercise anyway hehehe). Time to get more serious on this matter.

Any opinions?

    Hi there, i was doing some search on Google.. and i found your blog here. I wish to know where and how can we take those GIAC or SANS exam in malaysia? I checked those online exam center (Vue / Prometric), it seems that they don’t provide those exam.

    Any of your friends from MIMOS or Cyber Security take any of the exam? I am interested in IT Forensic area.
