That’s what I can sum up my day today. Early in the morning just before I have my first sip of my latte, I received a phone call from a prospect client which make my latte feel so bitter. I guess I’ve spent more than 20 minutes on the line with him where most of the time I just simply can’t answer his questions and queries. I am totally dumbstruct and lil bit embarras after that conversation. So embarras that I even contemplate of withdrawing from giving my scheduled talk during the coming Infosec.my technical forum organized by CyberSecurity Malaysia.
Anyway after a while when my senses and rationale part of my brain fall into their places in my mind, then I managed to think on the perhaps proper explanation (this after having discussion with my other colleagues) and yeah I did received a phone call from the same person after a while and it seems like he also becoming more reasonable and tolerate to our explanations. Maybe like my colleague said
“Ni syndrom raya ni. Silap makan lemang kot.”
So far everything is becoming more manageable and under control. But i have to admit, Lesson Learned.
Regarding my scheduled talk for this coming Infosec.my Technical Forum, I will give a talk on the key important elements in managing network Security. Of cause I will include Network Security Monitoring concept as I believe this concept is the best practice currently in managing our own Network Security.
So back to preparing the slides for the presentation.
