Well, it seems that this year I’ve seen many of my colleagues moved on with their careers. Some of them moved to different field and getting better pay (most of them actually) and they’ve made some progress with their career as well. Some of them still within the security field and yeah, they’ve moved on to our competitors as well. For me, profesionally, we are competitors but as security practitioner, they are still my peers

Soon, one of my best friends here will move to a new company. To be honest, I dun know which company but his office location is not that far and perhaps we might have our usual nescafe break at the afternoon ;). One of my colleague also will move to one of our competitors, Time Quantum Technology. It will be a new challenge to him and I wish him a very good luck

It is sad to see those guys leaving but I do feel happy for them as they’ve made a good and progressive decision regarding their career and their future.

Hmm so what about me? Oh yeah.. I am bonded to the company for another 3 years due to my SANS training last June. Ahhh now I know why the HR messing around with my promotion
